On possibilities of natural nuclear reactions in geologic events
Description
Brief historical review of study on radioactivity in application to geological processes is given; attention is paid to neutron-nuclear reactions. Helium-hydrogen ionized flows which by composition are earth analog of cosmic rays (protons, α-particles and derived from them neutrons) besides radioactive elements can be a source of neutrons in the Earth lithosphere. This endoginic irradiation of the Earth initiating magmoformation can, probably, change chemical composition of silicate substance partially by weak and mean-power but not thermo-nuclear transformations of petrogenic and other elements
