A survey of historical discharges to the Kjeller area and health impact assessments

The newsletter gives an overview of the contents in a report with the same name. This report has been written in response to a request from the Norwegian Ministry of Health and Care Services to survey discharges within the Kjeller area. Radiation doses to the population have been estimated based on the results from the survey. In addition, the possible health impacts from discharges of radioactivity and other toxic substances have been assessed. Finally, the report gives advice to the Ministry on the expediency of conducting a health survey in the area and on how such a survey could be achieved
