Method for tuning of large-area scintillation detector for gamma radiation measurement
Description
The method providing the tuning accuracy rise of the oscillation gamma detectors used in the cosmophysical investigations when recording weak radiation fluxes and in medical instrument engineering when designing and tuning gamma chambers is suggested. The measurement of the amplitude on a digital form and the accurate determination according to the results of measurements of the values of correcting actions on the photomultiplier gain factors are traded off for the tuning accuracy rise. The energy and spatial resolutions are improved due to the rise in the detector tuning accuracy. 2 refs.; 1 fig
