The unimolecular decays of Aln+- and Cun+- sputtered clusters: a comparison between competitive decay modes

Description
The method of kinetic energy release distribution measurement has been applied to the investigation of competitive channels of the unimolecular fragmentation of sputtered Cun and Aln cluster ions. It has been shown how these methods could be used to understand the regularities observed in the mass spectra of secondary cluster ions. (author)
