The temperature dependence of the hyperfine fields of nickel, copper and zinc in nickel near the Curie temperature
Description
Hyperfine field investigations were made to determine the critical exponent β in Nickel metals as in pure 63NiNi system as in two systems 66CuNi and 67ZnNi. The experimental method was the time-differential observation of the perturbed angular correlation of gammas after a nuclear reaction. The isomeric states 63Ni: 5/2- for 87.2 keV, tau = 2.49 μs, g = 0.301; 66Cu: 6- for 1154.1 keV, tau = 860 ns, g = 0.1733; 67Zn: 9/2+ for 605 keV, tau = 480 ns, g = 0.243 were excited in (d,p), (3He,p) and (α,n) nuclear reactions on the isotope rich 62Ni and 64Ni. A new developed fast electron beam heating cared for a sufficient temperature stability in the range up to 10 below the Curie point. (orig./WL)

Es wurden Hyperfeinfelduntersuchungen zur Bestimmung des kritischen Exponenten β in Nickelmetall sowohl am reinen System 63NiNi als auch an zwei Fremdatom-Wirtsgittersystemen 66CuNi und 67ZnNi durchgefuehrt. Die experimentelle Methode war die zeitlich-differentielle Beobachtung der gestoerten Winkelverteilung von γ-Quanten nach einer Kernreaktion. Die isomeren Kernzustaende - 63Ni: 5/2- bei 87,2 keV, tau = 2,49 μs, g = 0,301; 66Cu: 6- bei 1154,1 keV, tau = 860 ns, g = 0,1733; 67Zn: 9/2+ bei 605 keV, tau = 480 ns, g = 0,243 - wurden mit Hilfe von (d,p)-, (3He,p)- und (α,n)-Kernreaktionen direkt im isotopenangereicherten 62Ni bzw. 64Ni angeregt. Eine neu entwickelte schnelle Elektronenstrahlheizung sorgte fuer eine ausreichende Temperaturstabilitaet im Bereich bis etwa 10 unterhalb des Curiepunktes. (orig.)Additional details
