Description
Automated ultrasonic inspection in the United Kingdom power industry is reviewed. The developments and applications of automated techniques are discussed with respect to: fossil-fired plant, magnox nuclear reactors, advanced gas-cooled reactors, hydroelectric plant, and the pressurised water reactor. The future outlook for automated ultrasonic inspection in the United Kingdom is briefly described. (UK)
