The Monte-Carlo code TRIPOLI-4 and its first benchmark interpretations

  • 1. CEA Centre d'Etudes de Saclay, 91 - Gif-sur-Yvette (France)

Description

We present the main operational features of a new version of the Monte-Carlo code TRIPOLI used in shielding calculations at our laboratory and the first qualification results on neutron and photon problems. The points emphasized are the complete treatment of nuclear evaluation files, and the automatic multigroup ponderation scheme. The qualification results cover various criticality experiments, protection experiments such as ASPIS and NESDIP experiments. (author)
