Dynamics of J=0 NantiN→ππ scattering for 4μ2less than or equal to t less than or equal to 50μ2

Description

A model for the dynamics of the process NantiN → ππ for J = 0 is constructed incorporating nucleon, Δ(1232), and P11 (1430) exchanges, form factors and ππ rescattering and is compared to the amplitudes resulting from analytic continuations of the πN data. The ππ rescattering is included using a separable interaction fit to the J = 0 ππ phases and inelasticities. In this model about 25 percent of the amplitude comes from the N, Δ and P11 Born terms and their form factors while 75 percent of the amplitude and essentially all of its structure comes from ππ rescattering effects
