Experimental study of magnetic field effect on the kinetics of gallium, indium and indium alloys flowing on copper surface

Description

An experimental set-up for studying the effect of magnetic field on the kinetics of fusible metals flow on a hard surface has been described. A study has been made of magnetic field effect on the kinetics of gallium, indium and indium-nickelbismuth alloys flow on a copper surface. Magnetic field results in the decreased velocity of indium-bismuth alloy flow. This phenomenon is accounted for by the nature of the flowing alloy and flow forces in the magnetic field
