Glueballs and the helicity of the θ (1690)
Description
The helicity amplitudes observed by the Mark III and DM2 groups in Ψ/J →γθ (1690) require a large admixture of Lsub(y) =3. This is surprising for a qq-bar state at this mass, but arises naturally if the θ is a glueball. A perturbative calculation for a (TM1)2 glueball gives a result close to experiment, but not one for a (TE1)2 glueball. (author)
