Mineralization mechanism of 2033 uranium occurrence at Kesheketeng, Inner Mongolia

  • 1. Geologic Party No.243, CNNC, Chifeng of Inner Mongolia (China)

Description

The principal Uranium metallogenic epoch in the southern segment of the Great Xing'an Range is the Mesozoic, ore-forming types are mainly volcanic hydrothermal type, uranium mineralization is mainly controlled by basins, fault tectonics and rock masses. This study suggest that the geologic features, mineralization characteristics of the 2033 Uranium Occurrence are similar to the unconformity-related uranium deposits, which accumulated a huge mass of information and provided systematic insights into uranium mineralization regularity in this area. This study thinks 2033 Uranium Occurrence belongs to the unconformity-related uranium deposits, the research results will provide revealing fresh ideas and ore-forming types for the uranium exploration work in the Great Xing'an Range.
