Description
The pH dependent self-aggregation behaviour of peptide appended naphthalene diimide derivative (NDI) was investigated. It was observed that while the anionic form NDI derivative severely aggregates in solution lowering the pH render them in molecularly dissolved state. Photoinduced NDI radicals can be generated from NDI derivatives only in molecularly dissolved states. (author)
