Numerical solution of drift-diffusion model for a gas discharge plasma

  • 1. Baskent University, Ankara (Turkey)

Description

In this paper, one-dimensional drift-diffusion model for a gas-discharge plasma is numerically approximated by an implicit finite difference scheme. The stability properties of used scheme is analysed. A new iterative procedure is presented and comparison analysis with existing other algorithms is carried out which show effectiveness of presented algorithm
