Description
The magnetic characteristics of rare earth and 3d atoms and the role of these atoms in the formation of the magnetic state in pseudo-binary intermetallic compounds Tb/sub x/Y/sub 1-x/Fe3 (x = 0.25, 0.50, 0.75) are studied. The temperature dependence of the magnetization in a magnetic field of 0.8 T, and the established transition and compensation temperatures are presented. For Tb/sub 0.5/Y/sub 0.5/Fe3 neutron diffraction measurements are made. The molecular and mean sublattice magnetic moments for the compounds are given
