Description
In summary it can be said that none of the three in vivo studies carried out to date in our laboratory revealed an improvement in local tumour control or a prolongation of tumour growth inhibition as a result of fractionated irradiation. Compared with conventional irradiation regimes this approach even appears to offer a lower potential for therapeutic success
Abstract (German)
Zusammenfassend konnte in keiner der drei bisher in unserem Labor in vivo durchgefuehrten Untersuchungen eine Verbesserung der lokalen Tumorkontrolle oder Verlaengerung der Tumorwachstumsverzoegerung nach ultrafraktionierter Bestrahlung gezeigt werden. Im Vergleich zur konventionellen Bestrahlung zeichnet sich sogar eine potentielle Verschlechterung des Therapieerfolges ab. (orig.)Additional details
