Description

Irradiation trials conducted on materials-testing reactors should provide a better understanding of the phenomena which characterize the working and evolution in time of electricity-generating nuclear reactors. The authors begin by outlining the objectives behind experimental irradiation (applied to the various nuclear chains) and then describe the special techniques deployed to achieve these objectives

Les experiences d'irradiation realisees a partir des reacteurs de recherche doivent contribuer a la meilleure comprehension des phenomenes caracterisant le fonctionnement et l'evolution au cours du temps des reacteurs nucleaires producteurs d'electricite. Apres avoir presente les objectifs assignes aux irradiations experimentales (appliquees aux differentes filieres nucleaires). On decrit les techniques particulieres mises en oeuvre pour atteindre ces objectifs
