Solar effects associated with the cosmic ray modulation spectrum

Description

We examine various indicators of solar activity, with reference to the changes observed in the rigidity dependence of cosmic ray modulation between 1969 and 1972. The heliolatitude dependence and the N-S asymmetry of solar activity, as deduced from the distribution of sunspots and sunspot groups, appeared to be related to cosmic ray variations during earlier epochs; the failure of such a relationship to continue during the recovery of cosmic ray intensity is discussed. Abstract (German)

Wir untersuchen verschiedene Hinweise auf Sonnenaktivitaet im Hinblick auf Aenderungen in der Abhaengigkeit der Modulation kosmischer Strahlen von deren Haerte, die zwischen 1969 und 1972 beobachtet wurden. Die Breitenabhaengigkeit und die Nord-Sued-Asymmetrie der Sonnenaktivitaet, die man aus der Verteilung von Sonnenflecken und Sonnenfleckengruppen ableitet, sind verknuepft mit Variationen der kosmischen Strahlen waehrend frueherer Zeiten. Es wird diskutiert, dass eine solche Beziehung in der Phase des Wiederaufbaus der Strahlenintensitaet nicht mehr besteht. (orig./WBU)
