30KhGS, 06Kh6G2MB, 06Kh6G2B steel resistivity to corrosion cracking in various media
- 1. Dnepropetrovskij Metallurgicheskij Inst. (Ukrainian SSR)
Description
The low carbon steels 0Kh6G 2MB, 0Kh6G 2B are more stable against corrosion in 3% aqueous NaCl and 20% sulfuric and hydrochloric acid solutions with 30 g/l NaCl additive with respect to the 30KhGS steel. Such properties of the low carbon steels are explained by the presence of a great number of unfixed dislocations of the intrusion atoms (owing to the low carbon content), which facilitates the relaxation processes under martensite transition
