Study of Ge-In-Ga system

Description
Microscopic, thermal and X-ray analytical techniques were used to study alloys of the system In-Ga containing up to 2 wt% Ga. The solidus curve for the αsub(In) base solid solution is of a retrograde nature. The maximum Ga concentration in the αsub(In) solid solution is 1.82 at.% at 1000C. Polythermal sections are plotted for Ge-In+0.82 at.% Ga, and for Ge-In+1.63 at.% Ga. (author)
