The precise measurements of energy spectra and spatial distributions of laser-accelerated MeV/n-class ions using CR-39 track detector

Description
The precise measurements of energy spectra and spatial distributions for the MeV/n-class laser-accelerated ions from CO2 clusters embedded in H2 background gas target have been carried out. The obtained energy spectra and spatial distributions with uncertainty 0.1 MeV/n and a few μm, respectively, enable us to discuss the acceleration mechanism of laser-accelerated ions. (author)
Abstract (Japanese)
水素を背景ガスとする二酸化炭素クラスターターゲットを用いたレーザー駆動イオン加速実験において,固体飛跡検出器CR-39を用いたエネルギースペクトル及びイオンの空間分布について,それぞれ,分解能0.1 MeV/nおよび数μmという高精度な計測を実施した.その結果,イオンが加速された際の状況を反映したと考えられるエネルギースペクトル及びイオンの空間分布が得られた.(著者)Additional details
