Description
The nonlocal transport phenomenon characterized by simultaneous events of the core plasma heating and the edge plasma cooling has been observed in magnetically confined hot plasmas. Progress in experimental and analytical studies reveals the edge-core interaction in the charged-particle transport and long-range correlated fluctuations. The present chapter is devoted to discuss these subjects. (J.P.N.)
