Collective band structures of neutron-rich 112,114,116Pd nuclei

Description
The high spin level structures in very neutron-rich nuclei, 112,114,116Pd have been studied by observing the prompt γ-rays from the spontaneous fission of 252Cf. The ground state bands are expanded up to 16+ and the γ-vibrational bands have been identified. New octupole bands possibly based on the proton configurations are also observed in 114,116Pd. The collective band behavior is discussed
