Logarithmic lepton-mass singularities in baryon β decay

Description

We study the logarithmic lepton-mass singularities contributions to the semileptonic hyperon β-decay probability. We find that such contributions are independent of strong interactions. This result is consistent with and a useful extension of a theorem by Marciano and Sirlin on π/sub l/2 decay
