Positron annihilation lineshape study in Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system
- 1. Saha Inst. of Nuclear Physics, Calcutta (India)
Description
In the high-Tsub(c) superconductor Bi1Sr1Ca1Cu2Osub(x) the Doppler broadened positron annihilation lineshape parameter is studied as a function of tempeature. Anomalies are detected around the two transition temperatures found by resistance and magnetisation measurements giving indirect support for an electronic mechanism for superconductivity in this system.
