Description

Lithium fluoride thermoluminescent dosimeter chips (6LiF: Ti, Mg) were irradiated with alpha particles from an 241Am source. The energy of the alpha particles was degraded with thin mylar foils of different thicknesses. The TL glow peaks were deconvoluted and the relationship between the glow peak area and the LET of the alpha particles is presented. (orig.)
