Description
Recognizing the importance of dynamic treatment techniques and techniques for conformation therapy in general, the authors extended their three-dimensional treatment planning system to include features which are necessary for treatment planning of dynamic therapy. These additions are: computer control of the gantry angle, rotation and translation of the turn-table and the use of dynamic changing rectangular collimators and multi-leaf collimators. 6 refs.; 4 figs
