Description
The book aims at demonstrating some of the complex interrelations between the various disciplines of ecological environmental protection. A survey of legal standards and international agreements concerning the protection of the environment is followed by a definition of some basic terms, the causes of the burden on the environment, and information on the importance of environmental planning. The main disciplines of environmental protection are outlined, i.e. protection of waters, waste disposal, maintaining the air purity, noise and radiation protection, maintaining soil purity, nature and landscape management. Abstract (German)
Das Buch versucht die komplexen Verknuepfungen einzelner Disziplinen beim oekologischen Umweltschutz aufzuzeigen. Nach kurzem Ueberblick ueber Rechtsnormen und internationale Vereinbarungen zum Umweltschutz werden einige Grundbegriffe erlaeutert, Ursachen der Umweltbelastung aufgezeigt sowie auf die Bedeutung der Umweltplanung verwiesen. Es folgt dann eine Skizzierung der wichtigsten Disziplinen des Umweltschutzes, naemlich Gewaesserschutz, Abfallbeseitigung, Reinhaltung der Luft, Laerm und Strahlenschutz, Reinhaltung des Bodens sowie Natur- und Landschaftspflege.
