Report of activities no. l9, 1984

The accelerators at the Laboratoire de physique nucleaire are no longer used for fundamental nuclear research, but have found a new role in studies of solid state physics, microelectronics, biochemistry, and applied physics. Accelerators at TRIUMF, CERN, Chalk River and other locations are being used for more fundamental studies in lepton production, instrumentation, and particle physics. Another major project is the development of a data acquisitions system for an 8-pi spectrometer.
