On negative-parity intruder bands in 114Sn

Description
Excited states of 114Sn have been investigated via the 100Mo(18O, 4n) and 112Cd(α, 2n) compound nucleus reactions by means of in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy using the Compton-suppressed germanium detector array OSIRIS cube. Spin assignments have been made from angular correlation information. The newly found negative-parity K=5 bands have been compared with similar structures in 112Sn, even 118-124Xe and 126,128Ba.
