Baryon resonance in a proton-electron-positron system
Creators
Description
The methods of quantum electrodynamics have been used to calculate the effective annihilation cross section in the range of resonance peak of an electron-positron pair during its collision with a proton and the following formation of a baryon resonance with isospin 1=1/2, spin and parity JP=1/2-or JP=3/2-, decaying later into proton and photon. The existence of baryon resonance with mass value close to 1650 MeV and quantum number 1=1/2 and JP=3/2- is predicted. Spin values of N(2700) and Δ(2160) resonances with internal parities P=-1 equalling 13/2 and 7/2 respectively, are also predicted
