Description
The detection unit used during the sorting of solid wastes is accommodated in a shielded chamber and is slidable. The chamber houses the position-indicating components of the detection unit and a rotary vessel with the drive. The facility reduces the radiation burden of the personnel and rules out above-limit contamination of the environment. (M.D.). 2 figs
