  • 1. Katedra jadrovej chemie, Prirodovedecka fakulta, Univerzita Komenskeho, Bratislava (Slovakia)

Description

New possibilities have shown technologies using composite sorbents on inorganic bases, also suitable for column applications such as: CsTreat., SrTreat., CoTreat; BIFEGE and FERROCYN (Prussian blue composite sorbents on a cellulosic carrier); ANZZH, RATZIR ((zirconium hydroxide - ZrOx(OH)Y, where x = 0-1, y = 2-4), RATZIR-K (zirconium hydroxide on aluminosilicate), FEZHEL (composite sorbent K4[Fe(CN)6 on cellulose); NIKET (nickel ferrocyanide on aluminosilicate), MODIKS (MnO2 on aluminosilicate), UNIKET ((Prussian blue) on porous cellulose, KxFe y[Fe(CN)6] where x = 0.2-0.8; y = 1.2-1.8); SMET (CuS2 on aluminosilicate), IONSIV, which have been used in radioactive waste treatment, as well as in the radiative contamination monitoring of the aquatic environment, the Chernobyl and Fukushima disasters.
