Description
Promising aspects of some methods of non-destructive testing of fatigue crack initiation are considered: optical testing physical, in particular, methods of exoelectron emission measurements; acoustic emission testing; the current-vortex method; mechanical methods (measurements of inelastic deformation accumulation); electrochemical methods. It is established that these methods allow to observe the primary stages of accumulation of corrosion-fatigue defects in metals
