Some three-coordinate complexes of cadmium(II)

Description
Coordination compounds of cadmium(II) chloride, bromide and iodide with 2-, 3- and 4-cyanoanilines (CA) have been prepared and characterized by electrical conductance, molecular weight and infrared spectral measurements down to 180 cm-1. The 1:1 cadmium(II) halide complexes with the cyanoanilines isolated in the present study are tentatively assigned neutral, monomeric three-coordinate structures in the solid state. (author). 12 refs
