Study of radionuclide desorption from soils
Description
Radionuclide desorption from soils by distilled and lake water, extracts of birch leaves, 1 M solutions of NaH2PO4, Na2CO3, KCl, CH3COONH4, hydrochloric, ascorbic, fulvic and humic acids was studied. Dynamics of radionuclide mobility in soils in dependent on chemical features of acting compounds, physicochemical particularities of elements, mechanical, physicochemical characteristics of the soils. Organic compounds react with radiocesium better than mineral substances. Quantity and quality composition of organic substance and highly dispersed fraction, absorption complex of soils are the main factors defining dynamics of radiocesium behaviour in soils. 5 refs.; 2 tabs
