Description
For industrial testing of the uranium enrichment technology by the jet nozzle process, it is being erected in Resende the 'First Cascade' (FC) and it was built the Separation Element Plant (FES). For the development, optimization and quality control of the separation elements produced by FES, it was set up in CDTN a laboratorial infrastructure. As part of it, it was designed, built and assembled the Separation Slit Testing Equipment (ITRS), with several components developed and constructed in CDTN. The tests are being carried out in ITRS with the objective of adjusting the machine tools of FES used in the line production of the separation elements. From the satisfactory results obtained with these tests, FES will start the production of separation tubes to be installed in FC. The objective of this paper is to describe the operation and evaluation tests in ITRS, as well as to present their contribution to the development and quality control of the separation elements produced in FES. Para comprovacao industrial da tecnologia de enriquecimento de uranio pelo processo Jato Centrifugo, esta sendo concluida em Resende, a usina de enriquecimento 'Primeira Cascata' - FC e foi implantada a Fabrica de Elementos de Separacao - FES. Para o desenvolvimento, otimizacao e controle da qualidade dos elementos de separacao produzidos pela FES, foi montada no CDTN uma infra-estrutura de laboratorios. Como parte desta, foi projetada, construida e montada, a instalacao para Testes de Rasgos de Separacao - ITRS, com varios componentes desenvolvidos e construidos no CDTN. Testes estao sendo realizados na ITRS com o objetivo de ajustes das ferramentas da FES, que serao utilizadas durante a producao seriada dos elementos de separacao. A partir dos resultados satifatorios destes testes, a FES podera iniciar a producao dos tubos a serem utilizados na FC. O objetivo deste trabalho e descrever a operacao e testes de avaliacao na ITRS, bem como apresentar sua contribuicao para o desenvolvimento e controle da qualidade de elementos de separacao produzidos pela FES.
