Application of thin layer activation to cavitation investigations

Based on experiences in thin layer activation (TLA) applied to wear measurements first tests have been made to make use of this method in investigations of cavitation effects. Essential aspects for the preparation of the tests are given. It results, TLA is advantageous in cavitation research. (author)
