State of alkylammonium-substituted pentachlorocarbonyloruthenates(3) in organic solvents

Description
A study was made on spectra of electron paramagnetic resonance of (AmH)2[RuCOCl5] compounds, where Am - aliphatic amine, in organic solvents. The dependence of g-factor values on the nature of outer-sphere amine and the solvent was established. Signals from two chemical forms with similar composition of internal coordination sphere were detected in NMR spectra of solutions of alkylammonium-substituted pentachlorocarbonyloruthenates in nonpolar solvents. This is explained by the phenopmenon of outer-sphere isomerism
