Phase equilibria in the system Y2O3 - CuO - CaO below 950deg C

Description
In the ternary system Y2O3 - CuO - CaO phase equilibria have been examined over the temperature range 20-950deg C. Three binary side systems have been investigated as well. The formation of binary compounds with formulas Ca2CuO3 and Y2Cu2O5 has been confirmed, while the existence of compound CaCuO2 has not. The phase diagram of the ternary system YO1.5 - CuO - CaO has been determined in the solid phase. The existence of one ternary phase with the formula YCa2Cu3Ox was found to occur. Its X-ray data have been reported and lattice constants calculated. (orig.)
