General regularities of impurity diffusion in Cd0.2 Hg0.8 Te

Description
The diffusion of Na, K, Ca, C, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni in Cd0.2 Hg0.8 Te is studied by the radioactive trace method. The main parameters of diffusion are determined. Experimental results on 17 elements are summarized. Empirical equations are obtained for calculation of the activation energy and pre-exponential factor. Experimental and calculated diffusion parameters agree satisfactorily in the equation for calculating coefficient of diffusion
