Heat transfer rate when boiling under the conditions of scale formation

Description

Results o:f experimental investigation of temperature regimes of the heating surface during boiling under conditions of formation of a solid deposit layer in it, are presented. It is shown that at the initial stage of the process of scale formation the considerable effect on the reduction of heat release intensity is produced by deactivation of existing steam formation centres connected with the alteration of geometry of heating surface in the region of the acting centre
