Especially the following points are discussed: Benchmark calculations, reactor safety, fuel element development, irradiation tests, post irradiation examinations, full core demonstrations, activities of the GKSS and economical questions. Es wird ein Ueberblick gegeben ueber die weltweiten Anstrengungen zur Anreicherungsreduktion bei Forschungsreaktoren. Vorgestellt werden die Programme mit ihren Aktivitaeten. Insbesondere werden diskutiert: Auslegungsrechnungen, Reaktorsicherheitsfragen, Brennelemententwicklung, Bestrahlungstests, Nachuntersuchungen, Demonstrationskerne, die Aktivitaeten der GKSS und Wirtschaftlichkeitsfragen.
