Slow regulation of ion puffs compression at the Cadarache Van de Graaff

Description
The device described in this note allows to automatically recover the tuning of the cavity used at the 5.5 MeV Cadarache Van de Graaff for ion puffs compression. The un-tuning had the following drawbacks: an excessive consumption at the power stages of the compression system, a saturation of the fast regulator of the lower stages leading to an impossible regulation. This note presents the characteristics, principle, description and utilisation of the device
