Importance of test control of RP quality and its reagents used in neurosurgery

Description

It is shown that the national radiopharmaceuticals (RP) which are sterile and apyrogenic at intervenous injection, contain pyrogenic substances and trigger corresponding reactions at endolumbar injection. Therefore, it is necessary to organize QA control of the production and clinic applications of such RP as far as pyrogen content is concerned, using thegiven test in vitro which is the most sensitive one as compared to the conventional investigation of pyrogenity in rabbits
