X-ray spectroscopic diagnostics of laser plasma

  • 1. Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Academia Sinica, Shanghai

Description

In order to eliminate the self-absorption effect of resonance lines, the authors have used the intensity ratio between two optically thin satellite lines to determine the electron temperature of the laser plasma. They have found the compression ratio of the plasma by analyzing the broadening of the Ne spectral profile. Some lines produced from planes not parallel to the crystal surface have been observed in the X-ray spectra obtained
