Description
A mathematical model was developed for determining the stationary operating characteristics of the V-1 nuclear power plant steam generator. The model allows obtaining, before the start-up, a picture of thermal and physical conditions in the steam generator which are difficult to measure, and of the interaction of the primary and the secondary circuits in operation. The basic relations are shown used in the model as are some calculation results. The calculations of thermal and physical parameters, such as the primary coolant temperature at the steam generator outlet, heat transfer coefficients, mean steam velocity, and steam dryness after separation were conducted separately in 12 selected steam generator zones. The calculation results are discussed with a view to their further precisioning with respect to the possibilities of experimental verification of the calculated values. (Z.M.)
