Description
The Megarai colour dosemeter is used for the visual check-up as to whether sterilization by irradiation has taken place. However, it can also serve to measure the dose of irradiation in the range below 1 Mrad: alterations in the graph of reflection at 550 nm can be measured with a photometer. Trichromatic measurement, too, yields useable calibration curves in this range. (orig.)

Das Megarai-Farbdosimeter laesst sich ausser zur visuellen Kontrolle, ob eine Strahlensterilisation erfolgt ist oder nicht, auch zur Dosisbestimmung im Bereich unter 1 Mrad verwenden. Die Aenderungen in der Reflexionskurve bei 550 nm lassen sich mit einem Photometer bestimmen. Auch trichromatische Messungen fuehren zu verwendbaren Eichkurven in diesem Dosisbereich.
