Peculiarities of oxidation kinetics of isotope-modified amorphous boron
Description
Kinetics of oxidation of elementary isotope-modified amorphous boron obtained by electrolysis of potassium tetrafluoroborate melt, enriched with boron-10 and boron-11 isotopes, is studied. It is shown that the oxidation process is adequately described by Jander equation. It is found that the activation energy of oxidation process depends on isotopic composition of amorphous boron and is equal to 178-212 kJ/mole
