Description
A methodology for the synthesis of N,N-dihexyl octanamide using all indigenous raw materials was developed. In this methodology hexanoic acid was used instead of pentyl bromide, used earlier for the synthesis of pentyl cyanide. This also allowed to reduce the cost of dihexyl octanamide
