Sulphato complexes of bi- and tri-valent ruthenium

Description
Bi- and tri-valent ruthenium sulphato complexes, M[Ru(SO4)2(H2O)2] (M=K, Rb, Cs or NMe4); [Ru(L-L)(H2O)2(SO4)] (L-L=bpy, phen or o-aminopyridine); [Ru(Pda)2(SO4)] (Pda=o-phenylenediamine); [Ru(tu)2(H2O)2(SO4)] (tu=thiourea); [Ru(CO)(PPh3)2(SO4)] and [Ru(Py)4(SO4)] have been synthesized from Ru(III) sulphate. The compounds have been characterized on the basis of physical, analytical, spectral and magnetic susceptibility data. (author). 14 refs., 1 tab
